Bongi Games (bongigames.com) is a website of free, cartoony 3D games that run in your browser. This page explains what information the site and the services it uses collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it as short and plain as we can.

The short version

  • You can play every game without an account. Your progress is then saved only in your own browser.
  • If you make an account, we store your email address and your game progress so it follows you to other devices.
  • We count plays and how many people are playing right now. We never store your IP address for this.
  • The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to choose which ads you see.
  • We don't sell your personal information.

Information saved in your browser

The site saves a few things in your browser's storage (localStorage) so it works the way you left it: your light or dark theme, the games you've played recently (for Continue playing and Top picks), and each game's progress. This stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for bongigames.com; the Clear button under Continue playing removes just the played list.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. When you make one we collect:

  • Your email address and password. Passwords are stored in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody, including us, can read them.
  • Your game progress: each game's save and the list of games you've played, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
  • Basic sign-in records kept by our account provider for security, such as when you signed in.

Accounts are run by Supabase, which stores this information for us on servers in the United States. We use it only to sign you in, keep your progress and send emails you ask for (confirming your account or resetting your password). You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it at any time (see Contact below).

Play counts

To show how many times each game has been played and how many people are playing right now, the site tells our server when you press Play and checks in about once a minute while the game is open. To avoid counting the same visitor twice, the server makes a one-way scrambled code from your IP address, browser and the date, and forgets it a few minutes after you stop playing. Your IP address itself is never stored. The totals are kept by Cloudflare, which hosts the site.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the games free. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you'll be asked whether to allow personalized ads before any advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice later.

The games

Each game runs inside the page and loads the CrazyGames software kit from sdk.crazygames.com, which the games use for features such as saving and ads when they're played on CrazyGames. When a game loads, CrazyGames may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type. See the CrazyGames privacy policy.

Hosting and other services

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and, like any web host, may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
  • jsDelivr delivers the code library the site uses to sign you in, so it may see your IP address when that code loads.
  • The site's fonts are served from bongigames.com itself, not from Google Fonts.

How long we keep information

Account information and game progress are kept until you delete your account or ask us to. The scrambled codes used for play counts are deleted within minutes; the play totals themselves contain no personal information. Information in your browser stays until you clear it.

Your choices and rights

  • Play without an account, and nothing about you is stored on our servers beyond the anonymous play counts.
  • Clear your browser's site data to remove everything the site saved on your device.
  • Ask us for a copy of your account information, to correct it, or to delete your account.
  • Manage personalized ads as described above.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or privacy laws in California), you may have further rights. Contact us and we'll help.

Children

Our games are for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't create an account; you can still play every game without one. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
